FEATURE: ProgramMode/SetupMode - would like to do click to select.
In ProgramMode/SetupMode I would like to do click to select on an object if I can see
it on the screen. That is, there are about 7 object names displayed, it would be nice to be able to click on
one of them to select it.
FEATURE: LOPTS & LEARN command
Would be great to be able to automatically LOPTS & LEARN (LNL):
- An entire page
- An entire Layer/Zone
- An entire object
- An entire bank or range of objects
FEATURE: Arrow keys
Would be nice to be able to use the arrow keys on my keyboard to cursor around.
FEATURE: Online help
Would be nice to be able to access Online Kurzweil help (say, the Kurzweil manual).
FEATURE: Undo/Redo
Would be nice to have Undo/Redo.
FEATURE: Cut-n-paste
Would be nice to have a cut-n-paste feature. Say at the field or page level.
FEATURE: Archive object command
Would be great to have VP always archive a copy of the last edit of an object
within the .VPO file.
FEATURE: Would be great to be able to restore object from .VPO file
Given that the object is archived in a .VPO file, would be great to be able to
optionally restore the object from .VPO file.
FEATURE: Notes feature
Would be great to be able to attach user notes to an object (or even a field).
FEATURE: HTML report generator
Would be great if VP could generate an HTML report (documentation) of an object or
Layer/Zone. Perhaps even an entire bank or range of objects.
FEATURE ADDED: Data Entry Line
When you click in the Data Entry Line could all text be autoselected, so you can start
typing over it. Click again to edit current text. Like selecting a Microsoft Excel cell.
---
Feature added in 0.2.4 Beta: All text is selected in the entry line whenever it gains focus.
FEATURE: Disk Mode hack
it would be awesome if you could load files from VP just like in Disk Mode, but without
actually using it. maybe some kind of system where you can open a .k26 file on your pc in VP, and it uploads it
to the kurz over the midi cable? is that even possible? that would be the best thing ever. I know sysex is slow,
but still...
